Fashion’s love affair with nineties utility has seen an influx in reinterpreted silhouettes made famous during the era. But for Aussie born Dion Lee, the focus on paired back minimalism has always been in his ethos at his eponymous label. That notion crops up again for AW17, and while many would attribute the spaghetti straps suspending this crepe dress to the decade of yore, it’s in fact intrinsic to the designer’s architectural state of mind.
